YATSI's first ordinary joint meeting

On September 14, 2023 The Young Academy of Technology, Science & Innovation (YATSI) held the first ordinary joint meeting in Copenhagen. 

In order to welcome the new members presentations were given by:
- Lia Leffland, Director, the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences
- Anders Bjarklev, President, Technical University of Denmark
- Thomas Bjørnholm, Chief Scientific Officer, VILLUM FONDEN

The meeting then focused on the members getting acquainted and disussiong the direction for the academy. Following group work and plenary sessions about framework and goals for YATSI the members chose to set up three committees for the first year of YATSI:
✔ Research & innovation policies
✔ Industry & academia interactions
✔ Make STEM cool 

Next step will  be to further develop on each committee, elect chair/vicechair and plan the next ordinary joint meeting, which will be in December 2023.
